Davina Anderson joined the firm in 2021. Davina has experience in handling a wide variety of cases, including personal injury, contract, and property damage claims.  As an associate with the Law Offices of Danny M. Howell, she handles a variety of insurance defense claims in addition to assisting with various insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage cases, and the defense of bar complaints.

Davina earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as a member of the mock trial board and senior notes editor for the Federal Communications Law Journal. Davina’s interest in litigation began in law school, where she competed in and placed in numerous trial competitions across the country. Davina has coached plenty of law students in trial competitions and spearheaded a region wide trial competition for law schools in Philadelphia, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school, Davina worked in the Office of Inspector General for the New York City Police Department, a unit of the Department of Investigation responsible for making recommendations relating to the operations, policies, programs and practices of the NYPD.  This experience provided Davina with unique insight into local agency policymaking and procedures as well as the importance of considering the far-reaching impact of procedural changes to an entity when making those decisions and recommendations.

Davina is a New York native and enjoys hiking, traveling, and listening to her favorite crime podcasts.
