Jennifer Rowlett

Partner

Jennifer has tried over 200 cases to verdict in the State of Maryland, Commonwealth of Virginia, and the District of Columbia.  She has handled cases in 22 out of the 24 counties in Maryland as well as 53 of the 95 counties in Virginia and 29 of the 38 Virginia City jurisdictions.  This blend of volume of trials in a wide variety of jurisdictions has enabled her to craft a practice style that can adapt to virtually any venue.

In addition to a wide variety of construction defect claims (sub-contractor and general contractor), Jennifer has handled  fire loss, mold, and defective installation claims as well as first party and third party business income claims and job-site property damage and theft claims.

Jennifer has defended first and third party CGL claims for both personal injury and property damage.  She has vast experience in both commercial and personal auto lines in both personal injury and property damage claims.  Her commercial lines clients have included tour bus fleets, shuttle buses, trucking fleets, logging/hauling fleets, limousine services, and horse/carriage tour companies.

She has defended claims by and against property developers, property management companies, commercial residential property owners, and homeowners’ associations.  Additionally, she has defended claims against snow removal companies, lawn/landscaping companies, mold removal companies, shipping logistics companies, car repair shops, masonry installers, shipyard service providers, shipping container servicers, homeless shelters, restaurants, big box retailers, convenience stores, nail salons, daycare centers, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Perhaps most importantly, she has experience in handling emergency response/crisis management efforts after serious events such as fatalities or other high exposure events.  This involves serving  clients in multiple roles, including providing immediate and direct assistance to and communication with insureds, evidence preservation, media control, expert retention, and ensuring that privilege protections reach as far as possible.
